Holy Hen House:
Amanda Rose

Enthusiasm and drive! I am co-founder of Holy Hen House and consider it a privilege to work with women on a mission for Jesus. I am married to my high school sweetheart and am still surprised by God to support his ministry as a pastor's wife in Kingston, WI. Moving more than ten times (including internationally!) has given me a curiosity for adventure and culture. The best advice I have been given is to live at each place as though we'll be there forever. I am a stay-at-home mom of four (10, 7, 5, and 2) and enjoy homeschooling while always learning myself. With my master's in music composition, I write songs at night when the kids are asleep and occasionally tour with The Lutheran Ceili Orchestra. I love God's word, thrift shopping, cooking, playing music, the outdoors, travel, bringing people together, and being a missionary wherever God plants me.
Holy Hen House:
Melissa Kreuser

Always wearing my heart on my sleeve and overthinking everything, I was raised to have a strong love for my heavenly Father, His amazing creation and anything that walks on four legs. When dreaming of the future, I often pictured myself camped out somewhere in the Amazon, notebook in hand, discovering an unknown piece of vegetation or animal species. Little did I know that God, however, had an adventure all of His own in mind. I now find myself, not deep in the rainforest, but rather in an average Midwestern town less than 10 miles from my childhood home, living life as a wife to an incredible Army veteran plumber, mother to two sets of identical twins (first girls, then boys three years later) and a stay-at-home entrepreneur, running my own photography and design business. I also help to manage Holy Hen House, which includes writing, speaking and leading Bible studies for Christian women. A broken sinner and far from polished at this thing called life, I consider myself simply a vessel for the powerful message of Christ. God continually amazes me as He uses my writings and presentations to encourage and inspire others. While greatly humbled and incredibly blessed by this opportunity, I pray that God uses my words here to speak to you as well.
"This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us." ~ 1 John 3:16
