By the grace of God, you've been blessed incredibly...likely much more than you feel you deserve.  That's God's grace at work!  This winter, you have the opportunity to, in a sense, pay it forward and share some of your blessings with those who may not have as much as you do.

At our 'Blessed to Bless' Christmas for FAMILIES event, you'll work together, as a family, in order to create some gifts to share with people in our community who may not have a lot of gifts this Christmas.  By the end of your afternoon with us, you'll have a "blessings bag" bag full of handmade ornaments, essentials (such as toothbrush/toothpaste, tissues, socks, gloves, etc.), and other items that will you share the good news of Christmas and the love of Jesus with those who  need it.  Once completed, you'll be welcome to take a bag or two with you to hand out to people you either see or know in the community who could use a little pick-me-up this Christmas season!

Besides making blessings bags for people you might run into, you'll have the opportunity to join us in creating gift bags to share with people throughout our community!  This Christmas, Light of the World will be donating all the extra blessings bags to the Stone Soup Cafe so it can share some of the true Christmas cheer with individuals who might be in need of a little extra blessing this year!





At this year's Christmas for FAMILIES event, you can expect to:
- Hear again the joyous news of the birth of Jesus
- Create some neat ornaments
- Build true CHRISTmas blessings bags for your community
- Eat some tasty snacks (of course!)
- Sing some of your favorite Christmas carols
- Maybe take home some goodies of your own
- Find fun for the WHOLE family!!!

We're excited to get your entire family ready for the real celebration of the season, Jesus coming into this world to save us from our sins.  Won't you be a part of this awesome event?
